Sun King Meditation

For a dazzling look at Versailles during the time of Louis XIV, read  The Sun King by Nancy Mitford. Anything by Nancy Mitford is worthwhile, including her lovely face en profile.
When kitty Louis Quartorze flew to Seattle from Paris, he had  a passport and sat on my lap the entire flight.
For a lovely meditation try this:
Close your eyes. Imagine a glowing sun above the crown of your head. Send your breath there.
Keep that sun glowing, Imagine a glowing orb at your forehead, illuminate it with your breath.
Now a radiant sun at your sternum, send your breath there.
Now, focusing on the breath going in and out the inside passage of your, light a sun at your navel,
and then one at your bikini line. Send your breath to all the suns, and draw a golden line connecting them.
See how that balances you and pulls you together.
Now rub the palms of your hands together and feel your entire body energize.
Now you can plan a seven layer cake with coconut milk in the batter and roses on the frosting, a parterre for your garden with basil, thyme, oregano and a pear tree, or figure out how to get the pear out of an empty bottle of eau-de-vie.
